Georg Ronge

Georg Ronge (born April 12, 1869 in Neisse / Upper Silesia , † November 21, 1944 in Münster ) was a German administrative lawyer and president of the state tax office in Münster.

Career

After his first state examination in law, Georg Ronge became a trainee lawyer at the Neisse district court in 1892 and was employed as a court assessor at the Gleiwitz district and regional court in 1897 . Before moving to the tax administration in 1907, he was a public prosecutor in Gleiwitz and Stettin. Ronge became a scientific assistant in the Stettin Provincial Tax Directorate and in 1910 a councilor and legal advisor at the Wroclaw Directorate General of Customs. From 1920 he was employed as the head of the department for traffic taxes at the state tax office in Breslau. Two years later he became president here and on June 1, 1924, moved to the state tax office in Münster, where he remained until his retirement on July 31, 1934.
