Georg Schreiner
Georg Schreiner (born November 3, 1914 in Wernstein am Inn , † September 12, 1990 in Linz ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ).
Schreiner attended elementary school and the humanistic grammar school, where he passed the Matura in 1934 . He then became secretary of the Upper Austrian Farmers 'Union, 1948 Deputy Director of the Upper Austrian Farmers and Smallhouses Association and in 1956 Director of the Upper Austrian Farmers' and Small House Association.
Schreiner was a member of the Federal Council for Upper Austria from March 2, 1956 to October 24, 1979 . From January 1 to June 30, 1975 and from July 1, 1979 to his resignation, he was chairman there.
