Georg Schuster (politician, 1903)

Georg Schuster (born August 11, 1903 in Haslach ; † February 4, 1975 there ) was a German farmer and politician ( CSU ).

Life and work

Schuster was born the son of a farmer. After graduating from elementary school and attending the advanced training school in Hohenau , he completed an agricultural training course. He attended the agricultural school in Passau in 1919/20 , then worked as a practical farmer and in 1922 took over the management of his parents' farm. In 1927 he completed a seed breeding course in Weihenstephan . Furthermore, he continued his education with commercial law and economic courses as training for cooperative activities.

Schuster joined the CSU after the Second World War . He had been a member of the district council since 1947 (at times also deputy district administrator) and was elected to the Bavarian state parliament in 1950 , to which he was a member until 1970. Here he was a member of the committee for food and agriculture and from 1950 to 1954 chairman of the peat economy council .
