Georg Springer
Georg Springer (born August 20, 1946 in Vienna ) is an Austrian cultural manager .
Career
Springer studied Jus in Vienna and was then Assistant Professor of Constitutional and Administrative Law in Vienna, then to 1988 in the Federal Chancellery operates. From 1988 he held the office of deputy general secretary of the Austrian federal theaters, from 1991 that of general secretary. From 1999 to June 2014 he was managing director of the Bundestheater-Holding GesmbH, he resigned from the position in the wake of the financial scandal. Springer is a member of the board of trustees of the Salzburg Festival .
