Georg Stahl (politician, 1940)
Georg Stahl (born August 9, 1940 in Pirk ) is a German politician ( CSU ) and former member of the Bavarian State Parliament .
education and profession
Georg Stahl made after visiting the elementary school (1946-1954) in the years 1954 to 1958, a gauge for Spengler and fitter and ended it with the trade test. Two years later he did a second apprenticeship as a tax assistant . He then did his 18-month military service . Between 1966 and 1969 he attended a vocational training and full-time school with attainment of the secondary school leaving certificate. During this time he worked as a tax assistant in his learned profession. From 1969 to 1973 he was employed as a tax clerk in a tax office in Weiden (Upper Palatinate) . From 1972 to 2002 he was honorary mayor of the municipality of Pirk . He is Roman Catholic, widowed and has two children.
politics
Georg Stahl joined the Junge Union in 1966 and has been a member of the CSU since 1970. From 1970 to 2001 he was the local chairman of his party in Pirk and from 1980 to 1984 deputy CSU district chairman. Since 1972 he has been a district councilor in the district council of Neustadt an der Waldnaab . From 1990 to 1999 he was the district chairman of the Bavarian Municipal Council and from 1996 to 2002 the second deputy district administrator .
Georg Stahl was a member of the state parliament from September 1998 to October 2008. In Parliament he was a member of the Committee on Education, Youth and Sport and the Committee on Public Service Issues. In addition, he takes on the functions of a member of the parliamentary advisory board of the State Center for Political Education and in the working groups on sport and sewage and water supply. In the 2008 election to the Bavarian State Parliament , Georg Stahl stood for election again, but no longer as a direct candidate, but as a "pure" list candidate. However, Stahl was no longer able to enter parliament through this constituency list.
Other offices
Georg Stahl is active in the local sports and fire brigade club. As chairman or board member, he is active in the BRK district association and in the GEO center sponsoring and support association at the KTB in Windischeschenbach .
