Karl-Georg Utz (born April 14, 1901 in Ansbach , † February 21, 1939 in Stuttgart ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ) and SA leader .

Life

After elementary school in Ansbach, Utz attended the state technical college for mechanical engineering and electrical engineering in Ansbach. From 1917 to 1921 he worked in mechanical workshops and technical offices in Nuremberg and again in Ansbach. He then worked as a volunteer in the Reichswehr until 1924 . After his release he worked in his original profession until 1933. Most recently he was a technician at Dornier-Metallbauten GmbH in Friedrichshafen.

From 1925 Utz was in the Oberland Bund , to which he belonged until 1927. In that year he joined the NSDAP ( membership number 66,990). On May 1, 1931, he was appointed SA leader and placed in front of SA-Sturm 14/120 (Friedrichshafen). From January 1933 on, he was the owner of a bookstore, which he ran until he was accepted into full-time SA service in March 1934. Then he was with the leadership of SA-Standarte 143 (SA-Gruppe Südwest) until October 14, 1935, which he had led since his appointment as SA-Standartenführer on April 20, 1935. From October 15, 1935, he took over the leadership of SA Standard 114. During this time, from April 1937, he was councilor of the city of Constance . He left both posts in November 1937 when he became the personnel officer of the SA Group Southwest in Stuttgart. On January 30, 1938, he was promoted to SA Oberführer . From April 1938 until his death on February 21, 1939, he was also a member of the National Socialist Reichstag for constituency 31 . After his death, Erich Hagenmeyer was his successor.
