Georg Wache (born November 9, 1886 in Glatz ; † May 15, 1977 in Königslutter am Elm ) was a German politician . From 1953 to 1955 he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament .

Life

Wache was the owner of an industrial company in Glatz, where he had also been politically active since 1909. He belonged to the German People's Party until 1933 . During the Nazi era , he was persecuted by the NSDAP . After the Second World War he was expelled from Glatz, which fell to Poland in 1945. He then moved to Braunschweig , where he joined the FDP in 1948 . However, he later switched to GB / BHE . He was councilor in Braunschweig and from 1953 to 1955 a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament in its second electoral term.

Wache was a founding member of the Glatzer Mountain Club in Braunschweig, which was re-established in 1951, and was its first chairman from 1951 to 1961 . He was then made an honorary member and honorary chairman of the association due to his services .
