Georg von Falkenhayn

Georg von Falkenhayn (born August 2, 1890 in Steinau an der Oder , † 1955 in Königstein im Taunus ) was a German manager of the grain and yeast industry.

Georg von Falkenhayn graduated from the Prinz-Heinrich-Gymnasium in Berlin-Schöneberg . From 1908 to 1911 he studied law and political science at the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen , the Friedrich Wilhelms University in Berlin and the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel . He was active in the Corps Rhenania Tübingen (1909) and Marchia Berlin (1910). After the relocation of Austria from Prague to Frankfurt am Main , he also received her band.

He passed the trainee exam in 1911. During the First World War, he was seriously wounded as a volunteer in 1914. After taking the assessor examination in 1915 , he held positions in the war economy from 1916 to 1921 . Most recently he was director of the Reich grain agency . In 1921 he was appointed managing director of the Ostwerke-Schultheiß-Patzenhofer GmbH interest group in Berlin. From 1920 to 1924 he sat on the general committee of the VAC . In 1927 he was appointed to the board of directors of Norddeutsche Hefeindustrie AG in Berlin.

Falkenhayn was chairman of the supervisory board of Katz & Neumann AG based in Görlitz and Hamburg, deputy chairman of the supervisory board of Schlesische Mühlenwerke AG in Breslau and a member of the supervisory board of Getreide-Kreditbank AG in Berlin and Getreide-Industrie und -Commission AG in Berlin.

After the Second World War he was a lawyer in Rheda and board member of the Economic Association of the German Yeast Industry . This association has been operating under the German Yeast Industry Association since 2008 .
