Georg von Guenther
Georg Richard von Guenther (born June 21, 1858 in Berlin ; † May 30, 1942 in Dresden-Weißer Hirsch ) was a German administrative officer.
Life
Georg von Guenther studied at the Ruprecht-Karls-University of Heidelberg Law . In 1876 he became a member of the Corps Saxo-Borussia Heidelberg . After completing his studies and doctorate as Dr. jur. In 1879 he became a legal clerk. In 1881 he was ennobled. In 1884 he passed the government assessor exam. From 1886 to 1892 he was District Administrator of the district Fraustadt . During his time as district administrator in Fraustadt, the Poznan government appointed him a councilor in 1890.
Von Guenther was appointed to the Prussian Ministry of Finance as an unskilled worker in 1893. In 1896 he was appointed to the Secret Finance Council and Lecturing Council , and in 1899 to the Secret Upper Finance Council. In 1903 he was appointed government president of the administrative district of Bromberg . In 1910 he was appointed to the Real Secret Upper Government Council. On June 1, 1917, von Guenther was dismissed from the service. He then lived in Berlin .
