Georg von Lambsdorff
Georg Franz Wilhelm Freiherr von der Wenge Graf von Lambsdorff (* 4th November July / 16 November 1863 greg. On manor Groß Bersteln , district of Bauske ( Gouvernement Kurland ); † 6 September 1935 in Neubabelsberg near Potsdam ) was a Prussian administrative lawyer , District Administrator and District President in Gumbinnen (1915–1919).
Life
Dr. jur. Georg Graf von Lambsdorff started as a court clerk in 1885. From 1895 to 1905 he worked as a district administrator in the Ragnit district , East Prussia province . In 1905 he moved to Magdeburg as police chief and in 1910 he returned to East Prussia as senior councilor . Here Georg Graf von Lambsdorff officiated as district president in Gumbinnen . From 1919 to 1922 he was Reich and State Commissioner for the Memel area to be ceded .
