Georg von Loeper

Johann Georg von Loeper , also George von Loeper (born January 2, 1863 in Loepersdorf , Regenwalde district ; † January 13, 1938 in Wedderwill , Regenwalde district) was a German administrative officer.

His parents were Johann George Friedrich Bernhard (* June 22, 1819; † June 13, 1900) and his wife Johanna Philippine Helene von Eisenhard-Rothe (* June 28, 1825; † January 6, 1896). His father was heir to Stramehl and Loepersdorf and a Prussian district administrator a. D.

Life

Georg von Loeper studied law at the Georg-August University in Göttingen . In 1884 he became a member of the Corps Saxonia Göttingen . After studying and legal clerkship, he came to the Imperial Administration in Alsace-Lorraine as a court assessor and became mayor of Saargemünd in 1894 . In 1903 he became district director of the Forbach district . In 1908 he moved to the district of Metz as district director . In 1910 he was appointed a secret councilor.

In World War I he Commissioner of Police-South was of Longwy and Briey and head of the civil administration of the stage inspection of the Army Division C . After the end of the war, he had to vacate the post of district director and leave Lorraine. From 1920 to 1923 he represented the interests of the German Reich at the Committee for Determination of War Damage in Alsace-Lorraine and at the Arbitration Chambers for the determination of war damage in Alsace-Lorraine and Posen in Kassel.

He married on January 4, 1892 in Karow Margarete Johanne Köller (* August 10, 1870). The couple had several children:
