George Daniels (athlete)
George Daniels ( George Kofi Daniels; born March 8, 1950 , † August 13, 2005 in Cape Coast ) was a Ghanaian sprinter .
In 1970 he won silver in the 4 x 100 meter relay at the British Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh . He finished fifth over 100 m and sixth over 200 m .
At the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, he was eliminated over 100 m in the preliminary run, over 200 m in the quarterfinals and in the 4 x 100 meter relay in the semifinals.
In 1974 he won silver at the British Commonwealth Games in Christchurch in each case over 200 m and in the 4 x 100 meter relay and was fourth over 100 m.
