George Ewan McCraney

George Ewan McCraney (born July 23, 1868 in Bothwell , Ontario , † March 18, 1921 ) was a Canadian lawyer and politician .

Life

George Ewan McCraney was born in 1868 to the lawyer and politician Daniel McCraney . He studied at the University of Toronto , where he received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in 1892 and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in 1895 . McCraney was now serving as a barrister .

In February 1906 he was elected to the Canadian House of Commons in a by-election , filling the vacant seat of the resigned MP John Henderson Lamont . McCraney was re-elected in 1908 and 1911. He did not run in the 1917 elections.
