George Lind III (* 1977 ) is a professional American poker player .

Lind studied computer science and worked as a programmer until 2001 . He is from Gilbert , Arizona . Lind is married and lives in Chandler .

Poker career

Lind plays on the online platform PokerStars under the nickname Jorj95 . He masters the variants Stud , Hold'em , Omaha and Triple Draw . Through years of playing for high stakes at several tables at the same time, he was the first player on PokerStars to reach ten million Frequent Player Points that one received for playing at real money tables . This made him the only player in the PokerStars VIP Club Hall of Fame alongside Randy Lew . In addition, Lind was part of Team PokerStars until April 2017 .

Since 2007 Lind has also occasionally taken part in renowned live tournaments . He won his highest prize money in July 2011 at a World Series of Poker event at the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas . There, he finished in the Poker Player's Championship in sixth place and received more than 300,000 US dollars . In total, he has earned almost $ 850,000 in poker in live tournaments.
