Chandler is located in a very extensive urban network in which the city limits merge. These include Tempe , Mesa , Glendale , Gilbert, and Phoenix .
Chandler is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States. The helicopter manufacturer RotorWay International is based at Stellar Airpark (FAA Ident P19 ) .
