Chandler is a city in Maricopa County in the US state of Arizona with about 250,000 inhabitants (2016 estimate, US Census Bureau ).

Chandler is located in a very extensive urban network in which the city limits merge. These include Tempe , Mesa , Glendale , Gilbert, and Phoenix .

Chandler is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States. The helicopter manufacturer RotorWay International is based at Stellar Airpark (FAA Ident P19 ) .
