George Charles Oliver ( January 18, 1883 , † August 20, 1965 in Tampa , Florida ) was an American golfer .
biography
George Oliver was from Alabama and played golf at the Birmingham Country Club .
At the Olympic Games in 1904 in St. Louis when were the team event only two teams reported. Without further ado, ten players joined together and started as the United States Golf Association . This team, which also Oliver belonged to, won the bronze medal. In the individual, however, he was eliminated in the qualification.
