Georges Bellec

Georges Bellec (born March 18, 1918 in Saint-Nazaire , † December 13, 2012 in Senlis) was a French singer, painter and musician.

Like his brother André, Georges Bellec was a member of the famous singer quartet Les Frères Jacques , which was founded in 1946 and played chansons a . a. interpreted by Boris Vian , Georges Brassens , Jacques Prévert and Léo Ferré in a humorous way. After a last tour in 1982, the group with François Soubeyran (1919-2002), André Bellec (1914-2008) and Paul Tourenne (* 1923) broke up.
