Georges Désiré Malfait (born December 9, 1878 in Roubaix , France , † December 7, 1946 ibid) was a French athlete who specialized in the sprint .

Malfait, who was called "Géo" for short, was a three-time French champion. In 1904 and 1905 he won the title in the 100-meter run , in 1905 the title in the 400-meter run was added.

Georges Malfait took part in the Olympic Intermediate Games in Athens in 1906 and in the Games in London in 1908 and in Stockholm in 1912 .

In Athens in 1906 he started over 100 and 400 meters. However, he could not qualify for the next round. In London in 1908 he failed over 100 meters in the first round. The semi-finals over 200 and 400 meters. In 1912 in Stockholm he competed over 200 and 400 meters. Here, too, he was eliminated in the first round.
