Georges Auguste Ernest Trombert (born August 10, 1874 in Geneva , Switzerland , † February 27, 1949 in Lyon ) was a French fencer .
Life
Georges Trombert took part in the 1920 Olympic Games in Antwerp . With the foil he finished tenth, with the sword he was eliminated in the semifinals of the individual competition . He did not finish the saber competition in the individual. With the French team he won the silver medal with the foil and with the saber, with the saber he secured bronze with the team.
For his services in the First World War , he was made Knight of the Legion of Honor on December 27, 1923 .
