Georgi Albertowitsch Krassinski
Georgi Albertowitsch Krasinski ( Russian Георгий Альбертович Красинский ; born February 19, 1939 in Leningrad ; † March 17, 2011 ) was a Russian physicist and astronomer .
Krasinsky worked at the Institute of Applied Astronomy of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Saint Petersburg . From 2003 to 2006, Krassinski was President of Commission 4 for Ephemeris of the International Astronomical Union (IAU) . The asteroid (5714) Krasinsky was named after Krassinski .
