Georgina Wheatcroft (* the 30th November 1965 in Nanaimo , British Columbia as Georgina Hawkes ) is a Canadian curler .
Wheatcroft made her international debut in 1987 at the World Championships in Chicago , which she and her team finished as the winner. At the 2000 World Cup in Glasgow , Scotland , she was able to repeat this success.
Wheatcroft won the Canadian Olympic Curling Trails in 2001 with her team representing Canada at the XIX. Winter Olympics in curling. She won the Olympic bronze medal with her team on February 21, 2002 after a 9-5 win over the United States to Skip Kari Erickson .
