Georgine Galster
Georgine Galster , married Georgine Meysel , ( November 27, 1848 in Hamburg - October 27, 1917 in Berlin-Halensee ) was a German theater actress .
Life
Galster, the daughter of the actor Karl Galster , received her training in Berlin from Adele Peroni-Glasbrenner and then worked on excellent stages in Germany in the field of chaperones and mothers. In Austria she was a member of the Wiener Stadttheater and the Carltheater. From 1886 to 1898 she was engaged at the Prague State Theater and then withdrew into private life.
Her siblings were Caesar Galster (married to Livia Eichberger ), Carl Galster and Adele Garsò-Galster , all of them also actors.
The dancers Amalie Galster (1812–1881) and Hulda Galster (1810–1874), sisters of her father, were her aunts. The dancer Paul Taglioni , married to Amalie, was her uncle by marriage and her child Maria Taglioni the Younger (1833-1891), also a dancer, was her cousin.
She was married to the comedian and director of the Woltersdorff Theater Eduard Meysel (1815-1892).
