Georgios Theodoridis
Georgios Theodoridis ( Greek Γέωργιος Θεοδωρίδης ; * December 12, 1972 in Athens ) is a former Greek sprinter .
Life
At the World Athletics Championships in Seville in 1999 , he was eliminated over 100 m in the quarter-finals. The following year he won silver over 60 m at the European Indoor Championships in Ghent . At the Olympic Games in Sydney he reached the quarter-finals over 100 m and the semi- finals with the Greek team in the 4 x 100 meter relay .
In 2001 he finished seventh over 60 m at the World Indoor Championships in Lisbon , in 2002 he reached the semi-finals at the European Championships in Munich over 100 m, and in 2003 he failed again in the quarter-finals at the World Championships in Paris / Saint-Denis over the same distance.
In 2004 a bronze medal over 60 m at the World Indoor Championships in Budapest was followed by a quarter-finals at the Olympic Games in Athens .
In 1999 he became Greek champion over 100 m.
