Gerald Binke
Gerald Binke (born November 13, 1955 in Dresden ; † May 27, 1994 in Berlin ) was a German dancer .
Life
After training at the State Ballet School, Binke first joined the dance ensemble of the Dresden State Opera , where he a. a. when he stood out in Harald Wandtke's Apocalyptica (music: Milko Kelemen ) next to Arila Siegert as you .
In 1986 Bernd Köllinger conceived for him the role of E. T. A. Hoffmann in the "fantastic ballet" Hoffmann's stories (with music from the opera of the same name by Jacques Offenbach , arranged by Gerd Natschinski ), which the choreographer Tom Schilling realized in the dance theater ensemble of the Komische Oper Berlin . His partner in the female roles was Jutta Germany . In Schilling's Swan Lake he danced the red beard. He was also seen in Keath, as well as Women, Men, Couples by Birgit Scherzer and a number of other performances by the Komische Oper dance theater.
