Geraldo Gurgel de Mesquita, 1967

Geraldo Gurgel de Mesquita (born January 7, 1919 in Feijó , † September 11, 2009 in Brasília ) was a Brazilian politician.

Life

He was a member of the Chamber of Deputies from 1963 to 1971 and from 1971 to 1975 he represented the state of Acre in the Federal Senate . From 1975 to 1979 he was Governor of Acre.

He is the father of the politician Geraldo Mesquita Júnior .
