Orleir Messias Cameli (born March 16, 1949 in Cruzeiro do Sul , Acre ; † May 8, 2013 in Manaus , Amazonas ) was a Brazilian entrepreneur and politician.

Career

Cameli was prefect of his native town Cruzeiro do Sul. In 1994 he prevailed as a candidate for the Partido Progressista Renovador (PPR) in the election of the governor of the state of Acre in the second ballot against Flaviano Flávio Batista de Melo (PMDB). His term of office lasted from January 1, 1995 to January 1, 1999.

He died of cancer on May 8, 2013.
