Gerard Hallock
Gerard "Buzz" Hallock III (born June 4, 1905 in Pottstown , Pennsylvania , † May 26, 1996 in Essex , Connecticut ) was an American ice hockey player .
Career
Gerard Hallock attended Princeton University from 1922 to 1926, for whose ice hockey team he played in parallel. He then played in amateur ice hockey for the St. Nicholas Hockey Club. During the Second World War , Hallock served in Europe and rose from first lieutenant to major at the end of the war. After the war, he decided to pursue a career as a banker.
International
For the United States , Hallock took part in the 1932 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid , where he and his team won the silver medal. He himself was used in the 8-0 win against Germany .
