Gerd Hockenberger

Gerd Hockenberger (born December 29, 1941 ) is a German farmer and association official .

In 1976 he became chairman of the then farmers' association in Heidelberg-Sinsheim as the successor to Gerhard Weiser, who had been appointed Minister of Agriculture . In 1981 he was elected 1st Vice President of the former Württemberg-Baden farmers' association.

From 1997 to October 2006 he was president of the state farmers' association in Baden-Württemberg and is now honorary president of the association. In addition, from 2002 to 2006 he was a member of the radio council of Deutschlandradios as a representative of the state farmers' association. He is chairman of the Baden-Württemberg Hunting Association.

He is married to Margarete Hockenberger.
