Gerd Hohlbach

Gerd Hohlbach (* 21st January 1944 in Erding ) is a German surgeon and emeritus professors .

Life

Hohbach comes from Erding and went to Munich to study human medicine . There he joined the Corps Bavaria in 1966 , which is known for its many doctors. He is a specialist in the fields of thoracic and visceral surgery .

After studying his PhD at the -Maximillans University Ludwig to Dr. med. , then he worked as a surgeon in Lübeck . From 1990 to 2007 he held the position of director of the university clinic of the Ruhr University Bochum .

Private

Hohlbach has been a member of the Herne Lions Club in North Rhine-Westphalia since 1994 . When he returned to his home town of Erding after his retirement, he took over the presidency of the Lions Club Erding. In this position he successfully carried out the large projects "Lions Quest" and "Class 2000". In 2017 he handed this office over to his successor.

In addition, he is co-chairman of the Friends of the Lukas-Hospiz gGmbH in Herne.
