Gerda Engelbracht

Gerda Engelbracht (* 1955 in Warburg / Westphalia ) is a German cultural scientist , author and curator .

Life

Engelbracht studied folklore , ethnology and journalism in Göttingen . She has lived in Bremen since 1985 .

She has many years of experience in the museum and exhibition sector, designs and realizes projects, exhibitions and series of events and realizes publications on regional, social and medical history.

Together with Andrea Hauser , she founded the company "Engelbracht und Hauser - Geschichts- und Kulturkonzepte GbR".

From December 2008 to December 2011 she worked on the costume project at the University of Oldenburg, Faculty III, Linguistics and Cultural Studies - Institute for Material Culture.
