Justice Squads of the Armenian Genocide

The Justice Squads of the Armenian Genocide ( Armenian Հայկական Ցեղասպանութեան Արդարութեան Մարտիկներ JCAG , Turkish Ermeni Soykırımı Adalet Komandoları ) were a judicial, nationalist Armenian terrorist organization that operated worldwide between 1972 and 1987. Under the name of the Armenian Revolutionary Army , it was the military branch of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF).

She looked at the Armenian Genocide denial by Turkey as a continuation of the Ottoman genocide and sought the establishment of an independent Armenia including Western Armenia (including eastern parts of Turkey) to. The organization carried out attacks against representatives of the Republic of Turkey (especially Turkish diplomats) around the world. Unlike the Marxist Asala , the JCAG rejected the cooperation of diaspora Armenians with Soviet Armenia .

Attacks on Turkish diplomats were carried out in the United States , France , Canada , Austria , Portugal and Belgium . The justice squads also fought in the Lebanese civil war from 1975 onwards.

Under the name "Greek-Bulgarian-Armenian Front", the JCAG carried out the bomb attack on the Turkish consulate in Melbourne in 1986 and the attack on the letter sorting facility in Brisbane in 1987 .
