Gerelind von Pfalzel

Gerelind von Pfalzel (* around 680; † after 698) was the daughter of Odo, a vir illuster , and the founder of the women's monastery in Pfalzel , Adela von Pfalzel .

Life

As filia (daughter) Odonis, Gerelind gave St. Willibrord built a vineyard with winegrowers and accessories in Klotten on the Moselle for his monastery in Echternach . In the district of Cochem-Zell , this is the oldest of documented donation of a vineyard.

family

Gerelind had at least two other siblings. Brother Alberich († between 714 and 721) was the father of Bishop Gregory of Utrecht and Brother Haderich († after 699).
