Gergely Chowanski (born January 14, 1981 in Győr ) is a German volleyball player of Hungarian origin.

Career

Gergely Chowanski began his volleyball career as a teenager at SCC Berlin in 1992 . Later he was trained in the capital at the VC Olympia and came into the junior national team. In 1999 he moved to Bayer Wuppertal . There he was German runner-up in 2001 and 2003. In the same year he took part in the Universiade in Daegu . When the Wuppertal people got into a crisis, the club promoted Chowanski to player- coach in 2009 . In 2011 he switched to TV Rottenburg , where he was back on the field as a player. In 2012/13 Chowanski played Volleys for the second division TSG Solingen .

Today Gergely Chowanski is an asset advisor in Wuppertal.
