Gerhard Abele
Gerhard Abele (born May 25, 1937 in Esslingen am Neckar ; † October 8, 1994 ) was a German geographer .
Life
After receiving his doctorate in 1963 in Tübingen and his habilitation in 1972 at the University of Karlsruhe , he was Professor of Geography in Mainz from 1972 to 1990 and Professor at the University of Innsbruck from 1990 to 1994 .
