Gerhard Buddenbohm (born April 13, 1949 in Kutenhausen , today Minden ) is a former German handball player. He became German champion in 1977 with TSV Grün-Weiß Dankersen .
Career
Gerhard Buddenbohm began his career with the regional league team TuS Eintracht Minden and played in the handball Bundesliga for TSV Grün-Weiß Dankersen from 1972 to 1979 . In 1974 he was nominated by national coach Vlado Stenzel for the four-country tournament of the national team in Switzerland; in two missions against Hungary and Iceland , he scored one goal each.

Private
Until his retirement in 2014, Buddenbohm worked as a graduate engineer in mechanical engineering at the Melitta Group in Minden, most recently as a member of the management team at the Melitta company COFRESCO.
He is married and has 3 sons.
From 2002 to 2015 he was honorary managing director of the sponsor pool GWD POOL 100.
In the term of office from 2014 to the end of 2018, G. Buddenbohm was an honorary judge (lay judge) at the Bielefeld Regional Court.
Gerhard Buddenbohm has been an honorary member of the board of trustees of the WILLY RICHTER FOUNDATION, Minden, since 2010. From 2011 to June 2018 he was an honorary member of the advisory board of GWD Minden Handball-Bundesliga GmbH & Co. KG.
He is also co-author of the 2014 GWD book GRÜN UND WEIß .
