Gerhard C. Krischker

Gerhard C. Krischker (born June 24, 1947 in Bamberg ) is a German lecturer, writer, publisher and dialect poet who writes his works mainly in the Bamberg dialect .

Life

Krischker attended the Franz-Ludwig-Gymnasium in Bamberg and studied German and history at the University of Erlangen . In 1975 he received his doctorate in philosophy and was a lecturer at CC Buchner's school book publisher until 2012 . In 1997 he received a poetics professorship at the University of Bamberg . For several years (from July 31, 1998) he was on the city council for the Green Alternative List (GAL) Bamberg. He addressed part of his experiences in 2002 in the book schlechdä schdoddrod is doiä ("Bad city council is expensive"). He is also a member of the PEN Center Germany .
