Gerhard Hohloch

Gerhard Hohloch (born July 31, 1944 in Reutlingen ) is a German law scholar and university professor .

Life

He studied law in Heidelberg , Hamburg and Freiburg im Breisgau . After receiving his doctorate in 1974 and habilitation in 1980 in Freiburg, he taught as a professor in Bochum from 1982 to 1995 and as professor for civil law, international private law and comparative law as well as director of the Institute for Foreign and International Private Law at the Albert Ludwig University from 1995 to 2012 Freiburg .
