Gerhard Isermann
Gerhard Isermann (born August 14, 1931 in Göttingen ; † March 2, 2015 in Langenhagen ) was a German Lutheran theologian , publicist and author.
Life
Isermann studied Protestant theology at the Georg-August University in Göttingen and was ordained in Göttingen on October 13, 1957. In 1957 he became a pastor in Letter . In 1962 he moved to the state youth parish in Hanover . In 1966 he became school pastor in Göttingen, in 1972 pastor of the regional church and press spokesman for the Evangelical Lutheran regional church of Hanover . In 1979 he took over the management of the Association of Evangelical Journalism and the Lutheran Publishing House . He retired on September 1, 1996.
Isermann was part of the group of speakers for the ARD program Das Wort zum Sonntag .
