Gerhard Klausberger (born June 16, 1950 in Weyer im Ennstal , Upper Austria ) is an Austrian politician of the SPÖ , HAK director and promoter of literature.

Gerhard Klausberger was the youngest of seven children in a railway family and grew up in Küpfern . After attending elementary school, he attended secondary school in Großraming and finally switched to upper secondary school. Professional background

From 1973 (until 1990) he worked as a contract teacher at the commercial academy and commercial school in Steyr , from 1975 to 1976 he was introduced to the practical teaching post, in 1977 Klausberger was pragmatized . Finally he worked in teacher training from 1988 to 1989. He was also the founder and chairman of the Junge steyr association , which first awarded a literature prize in 1980 ( Erich Hackl ).

From 1985 to 1990 he was a member of the municipal council of the city of Steyr, district education chairman of the SPÖ, member of the district executive committee of the SPÖ Steyr, member of the state party control of the SPÖ Upper Austria, from January 25 to November 4, 1990 he was a member of the National Council and from 1990 until 1995 regional councilor of Upper Austria.
