Gerhard Melcher (District Administrator)

Gerhard Melcher (born July 22, 1906 in Oranienburg ; † unknown, after 1945) was a German district administrator.

Live and act

After the 1st legal examination in 1929, Gerhard Melcher became a court assessor in Eisleben and moved to administration. On April 1, 1933, he joined the NSDAP . In 1934 he worked as an assessor at the Eisleben District Office, in April 1935 he joined the Olsztyn district government and after just one month joined the Siegen district . Here he remained a representative of the district administrator until February 1936. In July 1936 he was transferred to the Erfurt district government , and after another month to the Merseburg district government . In the following year Melcher was a councilor and seconded to Podersam . Here he became district administrator on April 1, 1939. In the period from March 1, 1941 to 1945 he was - interrupted by service in the Wehrmacht district administrator in Neudek .
