Gerhard Pilgram
Gerhard Pilgram (born April 26, 1955 in Klagenfurt ) is an Austrian cultural manager , author and visual artist.
At the age of 16, Gerhard Pilgram, then a member of the political band “Foolish and Dilettante”, was already working as a poster at the Viktring Music Forum and learned how to hang up banners.
The school dropout was involved in the Carinthia play area as an advocate of adventure playgrounds, was an actor with Joschi Hanak in the Kikeriki children's theater and briefly with the Villach studio theater. When the communication center in Klagenfurt's Reitschulgasse was proclaimed, he was at the side of Del Vedernjak, who is now the storyteller of Del Vede.
Since 1986 he has been managing director of the UNIKUM university cultural center at the University of Klagenfurt . From 1990 to 1992 Gerhard Pilgram completed a diploma course in cultural management. From 1997 to 2006 he was entrusted with various teaching positions at the University of Klagenfurt. He is a member of the Carinthian Art Association and a founding member of IG Kultur Austria as well as a board member of the Interest Group of the Carinthian Cultural Initiatives (IG KIKK).
