Gerhard Stolz

Gerhard Stolz (born September 4, 1946 in Karlsruhe ) is a German politician ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ).

Life and work

After graduating from secondary school, Stolz first completed training for middle administrative service. He then obtained his Abitur and studied at the Karlsruhe University of Education . From 1973 to 2012 he was a teacher. Proud is married and has two children.

politics

Proud was a member of the SPD and from 1974 to 1977 chairman of the Jusos in Karlsruhe-Durlach . In 1979 he left the SPD and co-founded the Karlsruhe Green List. From 1983 to 1992 Stolz was a member of the municipal council of Karlsruhe. From 1992 to 2001 he was a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg and transport policy spokesman for the Green parliamentary group. In 2009 he was elected to the Durlach local council.
