Gerhart Veltman
Gerhart Veltman (born October 8, 1871 in Berlin , † February 13, 1945 in Leipzig ) was a German judge .
Life
As the son of the Catholic judge Karl Veltman (1833–1911), he started a legal career. In 1895 he passed the first state examination (good), the second in 1900 (good). He became a court assessor in the same year . In 1905 he became a district judge at the regional court in Flensburg , and in 1912 a judge of the chamber judge . In the First World War he was a captain in the Landwehr . He was a member of the Reichsgericht from his appointment in 1921 until his retirement on November 1, 1937.
