Gerlinde Kaupa

Gerlinde Kaupa (born December 27, 1952 in Roding ) is a German politician.

Kaupa was the owner of a bicycle shop from 1980 to 1988 and then co-owner of an engineering office until 2000. She has been a member of the CSU since 1989 . From 2002 to 2005 she was a member of the German Bundestag . In January 2003 she was appointed drug commissioner for the CDU / CSU parliamentary group, replacing Hubert Hüppe . Her drug policy work focused on prevention and prohibition . In the federal election in September 2005, she ran as a candidate on the state list , but failed to get back into the Bundestag. Kaupa is widowed and has four children.
