Germán Adrián Ramón Burgos (born April 16, 1969 in Mar del Plata ) is a former Argentine national football player who played in the position of goalkeeper . In his home country he is best known as a musician .

Football career

Burgos played for Ferro Carril Oeste from 1989 , before being under contract with River Plate from the 1994 Apertura . In 1999 he went to Europe to RCD Mallorca in the Primera División , where his national team rival Carlos Roa was in goal to date . After two years in which he only made twelve first division games, he moved to league rivals Atlético Madrid . Here he became a regular goalkeeper and came to 63 missions by the end of his career in 2004.

Burgos was also part of the Argentine national team . However, he had to struggle with strong competition and was mainly just a substitute. He took part in the World Championships in 1998 and 2002 , but was not used.

Musician career

Burgos recorded his first record as a player. His band was initially called Simpatia , but is now known as The Garb . The debut album "Jaque El Rey" was released in 1999, one year later "Fasolera de tribuna". In 2005 Abismos was released.
