Germaine Bazzle (born March 28, 1932 in New Orleans ) is an American jazz singer .

Bazzle's parents both played piano. After graduating from the Xavier University of Louisiana , she worked as a teacher and also performed as a bassist in traditional jazz bands. During her career, in which she participated in nine recording sessions in the field of jazz between 1985 and 1997, she played a. a. with Red Tyler , Peter "Chuck" Badie, Victor Goines , George French, Ellis Marsalis , Emile Vinnette, Larry Siebert and David Torkanowsky, as well as their band Germaine Bazzle & Friends . She presented the album Standing Ovation under her own name ; In 1985 she worked with Johnny Adams on Red Tyler's album Heritage . In 2007 she held workshops at the Louis Armstrong Jazz Camp .
