Gernot Wolfram

Gernot Wolfram (born August 8, 1975 in Zittau ) is a German journalist and writer .

Life

Gernot Wolfram grew up in Nürtingen . He studied German and communication science in Tübingen and at the Free University of Berlin . He completed his studies there in 2005 with his dissertation on Paul Celan and Chaim Nachman Bialik . Wolfram also works as a journalist for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung , Die Welt and the Süddeutsche Zeitung . Today he lives in Berlin.

In 1995 Wolfram was one of the winners in the “State Competition for German Language and Literature Baden-Württemberg” for schoolchildren. He received the Walter Serner Prize in 2002 and became an island writer on Sylt in 2010 .
