Gerold Rudle (born January 3, 1963 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actor and cabaret artist .

Life

During his time as a freelancer at ORF , Rudle completed his training as an actor at the Vienna Volkstheater in 1987 . He worked at ORF and at the Berndorf Festival .

From 1993 to 2004 he played several cabaret programs together with Herbert Steinböck as Duo Steinböck and Rudle . In 2003 he had a weekly comedy show on Premiere Austria with Herbert Steinböck . Rudle also had a few guest appearances on Austrian television, including MA 2412 , Kaisermühlen-Blues and Trautmann . In 2007 he played a leading role alongside his daughter Nikola Rudle in the series Mitten im 8en . In 2008 he took part in the ORF soccer show Das Match .

Gerold Rudle has two children from a divorced marriage. He is married to his stage partner Monica Weinzettl .
