Gerrit Derkowski

Gerrit Derkowski (born May 27, 1969 in Flensburg ) is a German journalist and moderator .

Life

Derkowski began his career at radio, where he joined Radio Schleswig-Holstein in 1990 as a freelancer . He has been working for the NDR since 1998, where he has been in the television sector since 2000. Since 2003 he has also been working for ARD-aktuell . Until May 19, 2013 he could be heard on NDR 1 Welle Nord .

Derkowski is the speaker and presenter of the Tagesschau . He also moderates the program on the digital channel tagesschau24 and the Schleswig-Holstein magazine on NDR television .

Born in Flensburg, he was appointed "Flensburg Ambassador" by the city. Several people are involved in this honorary position to improve the image of the north German city.
