The Society for Christian-Jewish Cooperation in Berlin ( GCJZ ) is a registered association. It promotes understanding, cooperation and religious dialogue between Jews and Christians. It was founded on November 24, 1949 and is a member of the German Coordination Council of the Societies for Christian-Jewish Cooperation .

Since reunification , the GCJZ has noticed growing xenophobia. That is why she sees her task in combating current problems. She turns against every form of anti-Semitism, racism and the discrimination of individuals or groups for religious, ideological, political, social or ethnic reasons.

The GCJZ organizes lectures, seminars and a variety of cultural events such as excursions, visits to the theater or exhibitions. Every March she organizes the Week of Fraternity as a concerted action with many co-organizers.
